The National Health Authority (NHA) has launched a health savings account called ABHA to address the healthcare needs of the weaker sections of the nation. ABHA or Ayushman Bharat Health Account allows users to store all their health information in a centralized account and share it with doctors across the country.
However, to access this account, you must create an ABHA ID (14-digit UID). So, it is necessary to learn how to generate this ID and get your ABHA card for a seamless healthcare experience.
Follow these steps to create an ABHA ID Card:
You only need to provide proof of ID to create an ABHA card. This includes the following documents:
● Aadhaar card
● Voter ID card
● PAN card
● Driving license
● Medical history declaration
● Bank account details
● Domicile certificate
● Caste certificate.
The ABHA card comes with the flexibility of temporary deactivation and reactivation at your convenience. You can also delete the ABHA account permanently by following these easy steps:
Note: When you select “Deactivate ABHA ID,” your account will be temporarily removed from the portal. You can reactivate it using your ABHA ID.
To deactivate or delete your Ayushman Bharat Health Account, select the “Continue” option.

1.Navigate to www.abdm.gov.in (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission website)
2.Log in to the Ayushman Bharat Health Account with your ABHA ID
3.Search for the download option and click on it to download your ABHA health card.

1.Open the Google Play Store and download the ABHA app.
2.Log in to your Ayushman Bharat Health Account with the 14-digit UID
3.Select the "Download" option to download your ABHA card.
