  • 5 medium size raw mango
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • Himalayan pink salt
  • 1⅓ cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger powder
  • Mint leaves
  • For masala – ingredients
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  • 2⅓ tbsp black pepper powder

Steps for making

  • Add raw mangos and pour 2 cup water in a pressure cooker
  • Cover and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles 
  • Cool it down completely, and peel mango skin.
  • Transfer the mango pulp into a bowl, and add some ginger powder.
  • In a bowl, add a few fennel seeds and let it soak for a few minutes.

For masala

  • In a heating pan, add green cardamom powder, black pepper powder, cumin seeds, and salt and then dry roast them.
  • After it has cooled down, put it in a grinder jar and grind it until it becomes a fine powder.
  • In the same jar, include ginger powder, raw mango pulp, soaked fennel seeds, and grind it until it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Include sugar, mint leaves, and a few ice cubes, and grind it until you have achieved a smooth paste.
  • Take a spoonful of Aam Panna concentrate in a glass and add a few ice cubes.
  • Try pouring it into ice-cold water and mix it thoroughly.
  • Lastly, savour the Aam Panna with freshly garnished mint leaves.
